Why California Still State Emergency?

The breakout of a respiratory sickness in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, prompted Governor Gavin Newsom of California to declare a ″state of emergency″ on March 4, 2020. This was in response to the spread of the illness in Wuhan City, China.

In a call with reporters, Newsom’s secretary of health and human services, Mark Ghaly, presented a similar argument as the one described above. He stated that emergency orders are still being utilized by the state in order to handle the coronavirus. This includes a waiver that allowed medical facilities to staff up with temporary personnel during the omicron spike.
